Roger,
I fear I am repeating myself, but as I wrote in my email regarding the MSNBC appearance, I think you are undermining your own message when you let yourself be boxed into making electoral choices. When the interviewers asked you whether you will be voting for Obama again, shouldn’t you have said something like: “The question is not whom you vote for, but whether elections are a desirable mechanism for selection of government. As the Athenians knew, once you accepted an electoral system, you are doomed to be ruled by an oligarchy.”
IMHO, that would have been a much more powerful message than equivocating about whether it would be better to vote “Obama” or “Palin”.
